Questions about shared web hosting

Hi there, I'm considering moving a personal website to DTH and have a few questions. Sorry if these questions are answered somewhere I didn't spot.

One motivation for moving is that the hosting I'm currently with use Spamcop (think that's right) on the incoming email and one can't disable that. I'm losing emails which is causing problems. Any email filtering inside DTH can be configured?

I would like to move to SFTP - does this depend on SSH? Some hosting companies who advertise SSH say they don't allow SSH to everyone.

On my current site I use "mysqldump" from my home computer to my website, it would be nice to be able to do something like that securely.

Lastly (sorry for the number of questions) directory listing is disabled by default?

Hi Peter

Spamcop is currently disabled as email RBL.
Yes, Sftp depend of SSH and we do support SSH. Is disabled by default, but you'll need to request it to get it available for your account.
You can run mysqldump through SSH without any problem.
Directory listing is enabled by default, but you can disable it through .htaccess or your Cpanel.

I use Joomla for part of my website. Is it possible to secure the Joomla admin console, to use https when hosted by DTH?

I would like to load files onto DTH webspace before I change the nameservers for the domains. It will be possible to look at the site in a browser before setting the nameservers?

Is it possible to install a SSL certificate for your site and therefore use it for the admin console.

Yes, you can load your account before to change the nameservers without any problem, you'll provided with a temporary URL that you can use to check your site.
